From September 22 to September 30, Mospriroda organizes free environmental classes in natural areas and eco-centers of the capital.

“Mospriroda specialists have prepared quests, quizzes, lectures, clubs, master classes and games about ecotourism and more,” the ministry’s website says.

The marathon is dedicated to three environmental dates - World Car Free Day (September 22), World Environmental Health Day (September 26), World Tourism Day (September 27).

“During various activities, experts will tell and show how to do without a car, or at least use it less often so as not to harm the environment, and introduce everyone to the basics and secrets of the ecotourism movement,” the message says.

For example, on September 25, at the Lesnaya Skazka ecocenter, specialists will demonstrate how to navigate the map, pack a backpack, recognize the scents of plants and animal voices, overcome obstacles and go through labyrinths.

And on an excursion to the Tsarskaya Apiary ecocenter, visitors will learn about the life of bees, the construction of hives and see eagle owls and a long-eared owl.

The scooter excursion-quest "Mysteries of the city park" will be held on September 26 in the park of the 40th anniversary of the Victory of the natural complex of Zelenograd.

On September 27, at a lecture at the Moscow Ecologist ecocenter, they will talk about how to travel without harm to nature and what ecotourism is. At the Bitsevsky Forest ecocenter, guests will learn about hiking trips, excursions to specially protected natural areas in order to study natural objects, biological diversity, recreation, create beautiful photos and videos, get acquainted with the mandatory rules for visiting them and the necessary preparation.

On September 28, on the territory of the Medvedkovsky nature reserve planned for creation, an environmental and educational tour of the natural area will be held in the form of a Nordic walking lesson. The participants of the excursion will get the basic skills of Nordic walking, take part in a general health-improving warm-up and cool-down, learn about the flora and fauna of the reserve.
