Dubrovnik Remains Croatia's Most Visited Adriatic Port

Last year, Croatia saw a significant increase in the number of foreign cruise ships visiting its Adriatic coast. According to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS), between January and November 2024, 727 foreign cruise ship voyages were made in the Croatian Adriatic, carrying over a million passengers.

In December 2024, a triple-digit increase in the number of voyages and passengers on foreign cruise ships was recorded. The number of days that ships spent in Croatian waters increased by 14.5% to 1642 days.

The number of passengers visiting Croatia on cruise ships last year increased by 183,000 compared to the previous period. Cruise ships that visited Croatia during this time sailed under the flags of 15 countries, most of them under the flags of Malta, the Bahamas, Panama, and Norway.

As in previous years, the highest proportion of visits was to Dubrovnik - almost 47% of all cruise ships. Thus, Dubrovnik remains the most visited port on the Croatian Adriatic. It is followed by Split, Zadar, Hvar, and Korčula.
