Moscow Domodedovo Airport has once again become the winner of the contest "The Best Airport of the Year of the CIS member states" based on the results of work for 2022. The organizer of the competition was the Association "Airport" of Civil Aviation.

"We are glad that for the second year in a row we receive the title of "The Best airport of the Year of the CIS member countries". In 2022, we continued to introduce additional services for travelers and guests. Passenger safety and comfort is a priority for Domodedovo Airport. It is especially valuable for us that the award was presented in the year of the 100th anniversary of Russian Civil Aviation," commented Alexey Artemenko, a spokesman for Domodedovo Airport.

Among the criteria by which the title of "The Best Airport of the Year of the CIS member countries" is awarded: the production and financial performance of the airport for the year, the development of the material and technical base, improving the level of passenger service and ensuring flight safety at the airport.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport named after M.V. Lomonosov is one of the largest air harbors in Russia. In 2022, passenger traffic amounted to 21.2 million people. Domodedovo was chosen for flights to Moscow by members of the world's leading aviation alliances - Star Alliance and oneworld.
