The administration of the resort city of Kislovodsk has announced that, according to a joint study by the Russian Union of the Travel Industry, platforms, and online booking services for accommodation facilities, the number of tourist accommodations in Russia on online showcases has increased by 50% in 2024. According to the study, Derbent was the leader in growth, with the number of such facilities increasing by 97%.

Kislovodsk took second place in the country in terms of the growth rate of tourist accommodations on aggregators. "In 2024, the number of properties presented on the city's websites increased by 87% compared to the previous year," the administration's website reports.

The top 5 also includes Arkhyz, Sheregesh, and Makhachkala.

"The growth in the number of tourist accommodations on online showcases this year is, of course, due to the growing popularity of Kislovodsk as a place to relax at any time of year. Our city offers various accommodation options: from rooms in the private sector to hotel rooms and apartment rentals. This year, cottages, villas, and glamping sites have been particularly active on online showcases. We expect the trend of increasing the number of tourist accommodations on online showcases in the resort city to continue in 2025," said Yevgeny Moiseyev, head of Kislovodsk, as quoted in the report.
