As the summer of 2024 draws to a close, the first results of the beach season are being summed up. This year, Croatia has surpassed all European countries in terms of camping site accommodation prices. A day at a specially equipped campsite for motorists on the Croatian coast costs tourists 62 euros. This amount includes the rental of the site, as well as the cost of electricity and water. The Croatian tariff is 2 euros more than in Italy and 4 euros higher than in neighboring Slovenia.

According to Adriano Palman, director of the Croatian Camping Association, the country is also ahead of other Mediterranean regions in terms of the quality of services in this hospitality sector. After all, half of the campsites for motorists at Croatian resorts have been awarded a high category of service - four or five stars.

However, the number of overnight stays in Croatian campsites has decreased compared to last year. Guests from Germany, in particular, have become noticeably cooler towards this type of vacation.

In total, there are 830 campsites in Croatia, ready to accommodate nearly 250 thousand tourists.
