As part of the concept of development of yacht tourism on the coast, it is planned to create about 12 marinas. They will ensure the development of the area of intensive yachting and the safety of sea travel.

- The purpose of the creation of parking lots is to reduce the distance between the seaports of the resort, create new embankments, and also provide the population with new jobs. We have already prepared investment projects for 10 marinas located on the coast of Sochi. Pilot projects will require about a trillion of total investments, said Olga Shebzukhova, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alliance Marine Development group of companies.

As part of the development of yachting and the construction of marinas, more than 10,000 marinas will be created. Each marina will be a tourist attraction, leisure and recreation center, which includes modern hotels, embankments, beaches, and sports schools. Thanks to the emergence of marinas, the number of hotel rooms on the coast will increase by 35,000, and about 40,000 jobs will appear. The project of the Prokhladny Canyon marina in the village of Golovinka in the Lazarevsky district of Sochi will be the first to be implemented. Today, only two marinas with 370 berths are operated in Sochi.
