The "Crazy Berry" Tomato Festival will take place on September 14th in the village of Chernigovka, Primorsky Krai. As the region's tourism portal, Visit Primorye, reports, over 200 people signed up to participate in the festival program last year (competitions, processions, harvest demonstrations, and workshops), and almost 1,500 guests visited the venue. This year, the organizers believe there will be even more participants.

Specifically, the festival will feature a "Farmers' Market," a "Village Street," and a "Crafts Street." For farmers, there will be a special agricultural machinery exhibition. A charity event will also be held, where everyone can contribute to the "Basket of Kindness" to help those who have had a poor harvest.

"A constant of the festival is the fashion show. Awarding the titles of "Mr. Tomato" and "Miss Tomato" is no easy task. The program also includes a culinary masterclass, performances by creative groups from Primorsky Krai, workshops for children and adults, and a win-win lottery. Confetti and fire shows will add to the mood," the portal notes.

The festival will not be complete without the "Tomato Race" and the "Cherry Race" for children, as well as the family relay race "Red Bogatyr."
