The Chinese government has announced its plan to allow inbound travellers with visas to enter the country, effective immediately.
However, some requirements around China travel remain, including the need for inbound travellers to complete a COVID test (either PCR or RAT, depending on the country of departure) within 48 hours before boarding their flight to China. Only travellers returning a negative test will be permitted to enter China. Visitors will also be required to complete a Customs Health Declaration when entering China. Masks are not required to be worn.
Like in the past, all international visitors to China will need to apply for a visa to travel to the country. Travellers are advised to contact their local China Embassy for more information.
