The press service of the Caucasus.RF Development Institute has announced the beginning of the development of a concept for promoting the all-season resort "Ведучи" (Veduchy) in the mountains of Chechnya. The field phase of the work has already started, within which experts from various fields - architects, historians, geographers, urbanists, sociologists, and culturologists - are studying "Ведучи" (Veduchy) and conducting a comprehensive analysis of the territories.
Specialists visited key tourist sites in the vicinity of the resort: the Ushkaloyskiye twin towers, the Nikhaloyskiye waterfalls, the local history museum in Phakoch, the Sharoyevsky tower complex, the Tsuy-Pede necropolis, and the main tourist attractions of Grozny. They also conducted a series of interviews with public figures, local businesses, government officials, scientists, archaeologists, guides, and tour operators, and spoke with vacationers and local residents.
The analytical phase of the work will be completed by September. After that, experts are expected to create the concept for the development of the resort until 2030 within two months. In particular, they will have to propose a site planning plan, including landscaping, new services, and activities aimed at promotion.
It is planned that the concept will be based on history and traditions. In particular, it is proposed to focus on horse breeding and herbalism. The revival of these traditional occupations fits perfectly with the original idea of the resort - preserving the national heritage.
These days, the construction of a new ski area on the North Slope continues, as well as the creation of new accommodation facilities. Two chalets are being prepared for opening, and next season it is planned to build 50 modular houses. In total, by 2025, 885 accommodation places will be opened at the resort, and by 2030 - almost 1300.
