"Cheburashka" will be filmed in Sochi

The shooting is held in the Arboretum park, the Ordzhonikidze sanatorium and on the seafront.

The main character of the picture, Cheburashka, will be made using computer technology. The rest of the characters will be played by actors. Sergei Garmash will play the role of Gena, who will become "not quite a crocodile" in full meter. Olga Kuzmina, Polina Maksimova, Fedor Dobronravov, Elena Yakovleva, Dmitry Lysenkov, Sofya Zayka will also participate in the film.

After Sochi, the film crew will move to Kislovodsk and Pyatigorsk, and finish work in Moscow. The film's budget will be at least 600 million rubles. The film is expected to be released on January 1, 2023.
