The organizers of the event reported that on June 8 Moscow will host a field event of the International Forum "Eco Altai. Thread of Nature". The session "Investments with concern for nature. Development of tourism in specially protected areas" will be held at the site of the Russian Tourism Forum "Travel!".
The participants of the joint ecosession will discuss the steps that are necessary to preserve and restore the environment and biodiversity of unique natural zones and territories in the context of the active development of domestic tourism in Russia.
"The relevance of the session is due to the vulnerability of the tourism sector to the increasing negative human impact on the country's natural heritage. Investments in ecotourism and nature conservation can play a key role in environmental restoration programs," the message says.
The discussion will be attended by representatives of the State Duma, the government of the Altai Republic, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Roszapovedtsentr, ANO "Russia - the Land of Opportunities" and relevant industry departments.
The discussion of the topic of ecotourism will continue at the end of September in the Altai Republic, where the International Forum "Eco Altai. Thread of Nature" will be held. RTF "Travel!" will act as a partner of the event.
