Birdwatching Trail Opens in Losiny Ostrov National Park

The press service of the Ministry of Ecology and Nature Management of the Moscow Region announced the opening of a birdwatching trail in the Losiny Ostrov National Park.

The only pontoon birdwatching trail in the Moscow region is located in the Verkhneyauzsky wetland complex. The route is equipped with information boards and a three-level tower.

The length of the pontoon trail is 650 running meters. There are 4 observation platforms on the trail. At the beginning of the route, a platform with a 12-meter observation tower is equipped.

The route will open up views of rare landscapes of amazing beauty, allowing you to immerse yourself in the silence and majestic tranquility of the nature of Losiny Ostrov.

In addition, visitors will be able to take part in open ornithological counts and take pictures of rare birds.

The protected area is home to 200 species of birds and 40 species of mammals.
