The World’s Largest Single-terminal Airport - Beijing Daxing Airport - and China's another new capital aviation hub was opened on September 30, 2019.

As the world’s largest aviation terminal housed in a single building, Daxing Airport targets to achieve 45 million passenger throughput by 2022 and 72 million passenger throughput by 2025.

New features in the airport are cheaper tickets, paperless tickets, less walking inside (five concourses connects to main hall) convenient transfer between Flights, New Airport Express, more shuttle buses and so on.

As Chinese air traffic numbers continue to soar, the country's aviation infrastructure has become more and more crowded. According to Bloomberg, China is on pace to displace the US as the world's largest aviation market by 2022. Crowding is particularly acute at airports in major cities like Beijing.
