The unusually warm weather that has settled in Turkey has led to an early opening of the beaches.

Record high temperatures for March have been recorded throughout the country. The air in many places has warmed up to 30 degrees Celsius. The highest figures were recorded in the city of Devrek. According to the Turkish General Directorate of Meteorology, a record level of +31.4 degrees was recorded in Devrek. Hot weather was also observed in a number of other cities on the Turkish coast. In Espiye, +31.2 degrees Celsius was recorded, in Çayeli +30.8 degrees, and in Barton +30, which significantly exceeds seasonal norms.

According to experts, the sharp increase in temperature is most likely due to climate change and atmospheric fluctuations. This situation is causing concern among climatologists. But the residents of the country and tourists are happy about the sudden arrival of summer. A particularly pleasant surprise for many was the rapid increase in sea water temperature. In the shallow waters of Bodrum, Kemer, and Fethiye, the water warmed up to +19 degrees, and in Antalya, beloved by many, the water temperature near the coast is already approaching +20 degrees.

In this regard, those wishing to sunbathe have flocked to the Mediterranean beaches of Turkey. And the bravest have even opened the swimming season.
