Avacha Bay can be cleared of sunken ships within two years

The official website of the Kamchatka Territory reported that there were 86 sunken objects in the Avacha Bay, four of which were in the waters of the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

Since 2019, 35 wrecks have been raised. About 30 more ships will be raised in the next two years.

In addition, the issue of including measures to raise sunken ships in the regional project "General cleaning" of the national project "Ecology" is currently being worked out.
