In Kaliningrad, they intend to carry out work to preserve the cultural heritage site - "Villa", located next to Lake Poplavok. State Autonomous Institution of the Kaliningrad Region "Center for Design Expertise and Pricing in Construction" issued a positive opinion on the implementation of the project. The building has a history of more than 100 years. This was reported by Glavgosexpertiza of Russia on its website.
"Villa" was built in 1905-1910 at that time in the Amalienau area of the former Königsberg. Before the First World War, many mansions here were built mainly in the eclectic style, combining elements of Roman antiquity, Gothic and Renaissance. The house on the current Chapaev Street is mainly attributed to the latter direction, but Japanese motifs are also found in it, including because of the sloping roof and the proximity to the building of the Japanese consulate, also from the beginning of the 20th century.
Currently, the villa, which has the status of an object of cultural heritage of regional importance, is abandoned. It is planned that it will be restored and adapted for a residential building - in accordance with its historical function, the report says.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
