Almost a million tourists visited the Kurgan region this year

The press service of the governor of the Kurgan region reported that about 800 thousand people visited the region this year. Thus, compared to last year, the tourist flow increased by 14%.

Now a lot of work is being done in the region to develop resort tourism. The modernization affected three main sanatoriums in the region. The facilities of the Lake Medvezhye resort have already been renovated, and the beach on its territory has been landscaped. Three new cottages and four glamping sites have also been opened there. This year, the modernization of the sanatorium "Pine Grove" began. Glamping will also appear there and the room stock has been updated.

Event events also attract tourists. The region hosts the festival of Slavic and Cossack culture "Russian Field", the Kupala festival and many others.
