According to the administration of St. Petersburg on its website, the festival will give a symbolic start to the autumn-winter season and will become a bright event that will present many facets of the classical and modern city.

“A metropolis with a rich cultural and historical heritage and a unique dynamic atmosphere, a tourist hub where paths converge - St. Petersburg will remind you of the role of tourism as one of the engines for the economy and the “key” for new discoveries and impressions,” the message says.

The holiday program includes interactive attractions, performances by modern bands and a colorful show in the Neva water area.

On Palace Square, you will find thematic multimedia installations dedicated to design and architecture, sports and water tourism.

In the pavilion dedicated to all-season tourism in St. Petersburg, visitors will make their own schedule of events for the coming months and plan a new trip to the city on the Neva.

A separate zone will work for young guests - a flower slide and light installations.

“The musical program on the stage on the main square of St. Petersburg will be the final chord of this summer, launching the autumn-winter tourist season.

A special performance, which has not yet taken place in Russia, will take place on Saturday, September 24 - an evening light and music show near the Palace Bridge, accompanied by a parade of historical ships," the city administration said.

A motorcycle race will also be timed to coincide with the All-Russian Tourism Day, which is celebrated on September 27 - it starts on September 24 from Palace Square.
