Alexey Ivanovich Grigoriev was born on June 25, 1980 in Minsk. In 2002, he graduated from the Belarusian State Technological University with a degree in forestry and then worked as an engineer for the First Minsk Forest Inventory Expedition.
He held the positions of chief engineer, deputy director, head of the center of the North-West branch of the state forest inventory of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Roslesinforg". After that, he became the head of the department, the deputy director of the Department - the head of the department, the deputy chief engineer, the director of the Department, the head of the department and the deputy director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Roslesinforg.
Since August 2019, Alexey Grigoriev got a job as Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy and Regulation in the Development of Protected Areas and the Baikal Natural Territory of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, and since March 2020 he became Acting Director.
On July 27, 2020, by order of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, he was appointed Director of the Department of State Policy and Regulation in the Development of Protected Areas and the Baikal Natural Territory of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia.
