Alexey Ivanovich Grigoriev was born on June 25, 1980 in Minsk. In 2002, he graduated from the Belarusian State Technological University with a degree in forestry and then worked as an engineer for the First Minsk Forest Inventory Expedition.
He held the positions of chief engineer, deputy director, head of the center of the North-West branch of the state forest inventory of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Roslesinforg".
