African tourism thought leaders gather in Botswana

African Tourism Thought leaders are gathering in Botswana for the 5th annual Africa Tourism Leadership Forum (ATLF) and Awards.

The three-day event commenced on 24 October 2022 in the capital, Gaborone.

Africa Tourism Partners said in a statement that speakers at the forum include UNWTO secretary general Zurab Pololikashvili.

Meanwhile, the Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) urged delegates to take time off after the Forum to experience the country’s distinctive offerings including the Kalahari Desert, the Okavango Delta and the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. 

Over 350 physical delegates from over 30 countries are attending the event.
