Additional recreation areas and picnic spots will appear in Pleshcheyevo Lake National Park this year

In Pereslavl-Zalessky, a meeting of the public council under the Department of Tourism of the Yaroslavl Region was held, where Olga Chuprasova, deputy director of the Lake Pleshcheyevo National Park, spoke about preparations for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of this natural and historical complex.

“This year, it is planned to improve the northeastern shore of the lake, upgrade infrastructure, organize additional places for recreation and picnic spots,” the message on the website of the Department of Tourism of the Yaroslavl Region says.

Further plans include the improvement of the Kukhmar recreation area and the reconstruction of the playground in the arboretum.

As reported on the Pleshcheyeva Lake website, last year, thanks to the work to improve tourist attractiveness, the attendance of the national park facilities increased - more than 194 thousand people visited there. This is 6 thousand more than in 2021.
