For the period from October 27 to November 6, a special program has been prepared for children, which includes cultural, educational, sports and patriotic events.
- The autumn holidays coincide with the Day of National Unity, museums, libraries, houses of culture and all the main sites of the resort city will join the program of events, - the Sochi administration reports.
On November 5 and 6, the New Theater in Sochi will host performances based on the well-known fairy tales "Rejuvenating Apples" and "The Princess and the Pea". For older schoolchildren, performances based on the works of Russian authors are planned these days. October 29-30 "Wolves and Sheep" by Alexander Ostrovsky, from November 1 to 3 "Dark Alleys" by Ivan Bunin.
The Sochi Concert and Philharmonic Association will hold a concert in the Organ Hall on November 6, in which they will perform famous songs and melodies from cartoons. The puppet show "Pushkin's Tales" will be held at the Centralny House of Culture.
- During the school holidays, concerts of classical, folk and jazz music are scheduled at the leading venues in the city. Works by Russian and foreign composers can be heard performed by Sochi ensembles: the Russian Souvenir orchestra of folk instruments, the Sochi Symphony Orchestra, leading soloists of the city, the city administration notes.
The Museum of the History of the resort city of Sochi is waiting for young Sochi residents for a lesson-excursion "I am a Sochi citizen", and the Nikolai Ostrovsky Museum will host a photo exhibition "Clean Look" dedicated to the Year of Ecology. Also, schoolchildren can visit municipal cinemas, which these days will have a wider presentation of children's and family films, which can be visited, including on the Pushkin card.
On the basis of 19 educational institutions in Sochi, specialized camps with daytime stays for children will be opened, they will be attended by 1,590 schoolchildren aged 7 to 11 years. Students between the ages of 14 and 17 will be given the opportunity for temporary employment.
