A new tourist complex, stylized as a coach station, will open in autumn near Yakutsk. The project is being implemented by SakhaTour as a resident of the Yakutia priority development area under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV).

“We want to offer the guests of Yakutia another opportunity to get acquainted with our harsh but amazing land. We will build a year-round tourist complex and will accept everyone, despite the long “dead” season that we have due to natural and climatic conditions,” said Natalya Khramtsova, director of SakhaTour, whose words are quoted in a message on the KRDV website.

She noted that the coachman culture is a bright part of the history of Yakutia. Therefore, for the design of the complex, the creators chose the style of pits - postal stations, which were located along the famous Irkutsk-Yakutsk coachman's highway, which served to transport goods and mail in the days of Tsarist Russia.

“For those who are not afraid of abnormal cold, and who want to visit the heart of real winter, or, say, go on a river cruise to the Sinsky or Lena Pillars, we will offer comfortable accommodation, food, and organize excursions and holidays if desired,” Khramtsova said.

The facility will be located in the village of Staraya Tabaga, not far from Yakutsk. The investor is ready to start building 10 guest comfortable glamping houses, a wooden bathhouse and a restaurant on the allocated land plot, the KRDV reported.

“The tourist complex will be supplied with gas, which will allow receiving guests all year round. Thanks to pre-fabricated housing construction and already received technical conditions, the launch of a new hospitality facility is planned in the fall of 2023,” the corporation said.

In the Far East and the Arctic, with the help of preferential regimes, hotel and ethnographic complexes and recreation centers, ski resorts and glamping sites are being built, unique tourist routes are being developed, infrastructure is being developed, and new points of attraction for travelers are being created, the KRDV recalled.
