The organizers of the inclusive project are the Dream League program of complex personality rehabilitation with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund. Thanks to this innovative social program, people with disabilities are engaged in complex coordination sports that were considered inaccessible to them: alpine skiing, rollerball sports, team playing sports - basketball, volleyball, football, curling on the grass, badminton and so on.
The summer session at the Rosa Khutor resort is aimed at intensive sports training and education of independence for adolescents and young people with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder and other types of disabilities. At the same time, their parents are being rehabilitated.
«We are actively testing the direction of inclusive tourism for our families. This model is in great demand and affects the physical and mental health of not only children, but also their parents. This travel format is a great way to visit new cities, find like-minded people, work with a team of professionals and just get a lot of positive emotions and impressions. This summer we are preparing several shifts based on Russian resorts and are working to make the program year-round,» said Natalya Belogolovtseva, head of the Dream League program.
The program is taking place with the support of the Rosa Khutor resort and the Azimut Freestyle Hotel, which actively participate in the Dream League program.
