The complex was created in the suburbs of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky by Moto Park Kamchatka. More than 353 million rubles were invested in the project, it was implemented under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV).
The facility is the first complex on the peninsula for holding sports events in motorcycle and other technical sports. Moto Park Kamchatka has put it into operation, KRDV reports on its website.
“We have embodied the idea of combining opportunities in one area for both motorsport and motorsport enthusiasts, and adherents of sports culture and tourism, which are attracted by Kamchatka. We tried to maximize the potential of the allocated site, thought out routes for both beginners and real pros, ”KRDV quotes the general director of Moto Park Kamchatka Timofey Shkolenkov.
The motor park occupies 15.5 hectares, one of the best track designers, Greg Atkins, who has 30 years of track construction experience, was involved in its development, the KRDV notes.
“As a result, a 1,600-meter-long track with a height difference of up to 20 meters was built. We managed to create conditions for freestyle motocrossing, holding professional-level sports competitions and other festive events, car races, there are technical zones and rooms for storing equipment and equipment, alternative recreation sites, camping, as well as hiking trails in the natural home park”, - said the corporation.
Coaches, judges and commentators are equipped with premises, open and covered stands, which can accommodate five thousand spectators.
The specialists of the complex are ready to teach guests how to drive a motorcycle from scratch or improve existing skills. Including there are trainers specializing in children's training.
