“On the territory of the future complex with an area of 11.4 hectares there will be a hotel complex with 160 rooms, including standard rooms, suites and individual holiday homes. For guests, it is planned to create an entertainment and sports infrastructure - a water and recreation complex with a swimming pool, food infrastructure and entertainment for family vacations, ”Tourism.RF reports on its website.
The facility will provide comfortable accommodation for guests during excursions to the main attractions of the Altai Mountains - Belukha Mountain, Teletskoye Lake, the Katun River, Karakolsky and Multinsky lakes. Due to its favorable location (on the territory of the Maiminsky district near the federal highway R-256 Chuisky Trakt), the complex will have a high-quality transport and supporting infrastructure, Tourism.RF noted.
Completion of construction and commissioning of facilities is scheduled for 2025.
“The development of the integrated tourism project Katun is socially significant for the Altai Republic - 217 new jobs will be created here, and its own infrastructure will be formed for the resort employees. The volume of investments in the recreation and health complex is estimated at 4.2 billion rubles,” the corporation said in a statement.
