The press service of the Kronotsky Reserve reported that the raid took place in the South Kamchatka Federal Reserve. The specialists traveled about 260 km on snowmobiles from the mouth of the First River to Cape Lopatka.

The route ran along the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk, mountain passes, intermountain valleys, volcano foothills and rivers. The inspectors had to wait two days for a snow storm at the Coastal cordon. After the weather improved, the group delivered a passing cargo to the workers of the weather station at Cape Lopatka and the lighthouse keepers. Usually delivery there is carried out no more than once every three months.

“No poachers or other violators of the protected regime were found. However, during the last cyclone, the infrastructure of the modular cordon on the Kambalnaya River was partially damaged. Kambalnaya," the reserve said.

Inspectors repaired a window in the kitchen area of the modular home that had been blown out by a storm. The house stores food for the summer field season. If the infrastructure had not been restored in time, the inspectors would have been left without provisions after the spring awakening of the bears and the visits of the wolverine.
