In the Orenburg region, a meeting on the development of ecotourism in protected areas was held within the framework of the visit to the region of the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation Elena Panova. During the working meeting, the Governor of the Orenburg Region Denis Pasler and experts presented to the delegation of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia and the Roszapovedtsentr plans for the development of ecotourism, as well as a project to create a tourist and recreational cluster «Atmosphere. Step».
This project became a laureate of the All-Russian competition for the creation of tourist and recreational clusters and the development of ecotourism in Russia, organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives within the framework of the National Project "Ecology 2018-2024" and "Strategy for the Development of Tourism in the Russian Federation until 2035».
The project will develop the Shaitan-Tau and Orenburgsky reserves. In addition to the nature reserves of the Orenburg region, the cluster includes natural monuments that are attractive from the point of view of the development of ecotourism, the Belyaevsky and Akbulaksky districts, as well as the Kuvandyk urban district.
In the future, a comfortable visitor center, a modern museum complex, new tourist routes and navigation aids, campgrounds for tourists may appear on the specially protected natural areas.
In the process of finalization, the national park "Buzuluk Bor" was added to the project.
The project will be presented to investors in a revised form at the end of October.
