Moscow Domodedovo Airport has received permission from the Federal Air Transport Agency to put into operation a new segment of the Domodedovo Airport passenger terminal — T2.

Already in November, it is planned to serve the first flights in test mode from the new segment of the terminal, whose area exceeds 238,000 square meters, and the capacity is 20 million passengers per year. Thus, the total area of the Domodedovo single passenger terminal will increase to 500,000 sq. m.

The implementation of the T2 project will make Domodedovo one of the largest single terminals in Europe, made in the UNDER ONE ROOF concept. This approach assumes the most effective use of the airport's transfer potential.
