The first observation deck for bird watching appeared in the Krasnoyarskie Stolby National Park (Krasnoyarsk Territory).

It was helped by volunteers from different parts of Russia with the support of the Zapovednoye Embassy Charitable Educational Foundation, within the framework of the Siberian Perspective Eco-Summit.

A team of corporate volunteers from Norilsk, Monchegorsk, Zapolyarny, Nikel, Chita, Moscow, Saratov and Krasnoyarsk, together with invited volunteers from other companies (Sberbank, Russian Railways, KFC, SIBUR, MTS, Polyus, Rosatom and Leroy Merlin ) worked for the benefit of the protected area for two days.

In addition to a new ornithological site with silhouettes of birds found in the national park, participants set up stands with simple birdwatching tips, replaced the national park's sign at the entrance from the Bobrovy Log Funpark, and continued to improve the eco-trail built by volunteers in 2018.

More than 70 volunteers, together with employees of the National Park and representatives of the Zapovednoye Embassy Foundation, were engaged in installing benches and feeding troughs, skidding building material, covering the eco-trail, painting handrails, contrasting marking of steps, dismantling the perimeter fence left after the Winter Universiade 2019, as well as dismantling the abandoned building of the first cable car station, built in the 70s of the last century.

The new infrastructure facilities will become a place of attraction for tourists, will reduce the anthropogenic load and redirect visitors from the Central and Eastern entrances of Krasnoyarsk Pillars.

The new observation deck is the end point of the tourist route along the Kashtakovskaya trail from the Funpark side.
