As part of the “Route is Built” campaign, a new eco-route “Southern Cultures” was presented in Sochi.
The action is aimed at popularizing ecological tourism in the country and achieving the objectives of the national project "Ecology".
According to Elena Panova, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, «the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus is one of the most popular holiday destinations for Russians and guests from abroad».
«The anthropogenic load on natural systems is quite high here. As part of the initiative of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia "The Route is Built", we want to draw the attention of visitors to the fragility and beauty of the unique protected areas of our country, to contribute to environmental education work to educate the ecological culture of the population,» she added.
One of the parts of the route is the Revived Park project, implemented by the Caucasian Reserve in cooperation with a team of media artists from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
«Unusual light installations together with sound and projection effects allow you to experience completely new emotions and sensations from a journey through the magical world of wildlife.
Each of the 10 installations mounted along the route is a separate story, touching upon very important and profound topics - life, the vulnerability of nature, ecology,» explained Sergei Shevelev, director of the Caucasus Nature Reserve.
The “Alive Park” evening multimedia tour was launched on July 20, 2020.
Based on what materials and technologies are used to mount acoustic and lighting devices, how the electrical cables are connected, the experts concluded that this equipment will not have any impact on the integrity of the park's botanical collection and its condition.
According to experts, the new object will not have a negative impact on the avifauna. The park is inhabited by swans, geese, moorhenes.
