The long-awaited Barefoot Trail has been opened in the Losiny Ostrov National Park. According to the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, the trail is a unique and the only ecological object in Russia with a length of more than three kilometers.

The hiking trail has a variety of surfaces, such as sand, pine bark, sea pebbles, clay, boulders, cones and much more. On the way, there are also obstacles in the form of logs, ladders and even a stream.

Walking barefoot improves blood circulation and coordination of movements, so walking barefoot along the new "tactile" route will be useful for both adults and children.
