During the summer holidays, more than a hundred camps will operate for young Sochi residents - 48 day-time school camps, as well as 44 labor and recreation camps. They are ready to accept about eight thousand children. Exciting hiking trips will be organized for teenagers. Outdoor walks will be accompanied by interesting tasks and research work.
The number of school-age children living in our city is growing every year. An important task for us is the maximum coverage of children aged 7 to 17 years, and there are more than 72 thousand of them today, with organized forms of recreation, health improvement and youth tourism at the expense of the municipal budget. More than 47 million rubles are planned for these purposes this year, - said the head of the city Alexei Kopaygorodsky.
Today there are six objects of the sanatorium and resort industry in Sochi, which accept organized children's groups. These are the Magadan sanatorium, the Druzhba children's recreation complex, the Romashka boarding house, the Kolos recreation center for children, the Zarnitsa recreation complex, and the Express children's recreation camp.
