The press service of the Oksky State Reserve announced the approval of the plan for the resettlement of bison from nurseries and free groups for the next two years.
According to the plan, 16 bison from the nurseries of the Oksky and Prioksko-Terrasny reserves will go to replenish the free group in the Turmonsky reserve in the fall. In winter, 10 bison from the free group living in Orlovsky Polissya will move to the Ust-Kubensky hunting farm of the Vologda region.
“It is also planned to exchange breeding animals between nurseries - Oksky, Prioksko-Terrasny and Zubr LLC,” the message says.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
