The official website of the Mayor of Moscow reported that on July 27, the "Purple Engine" festival will take place in the Kuzminki-Lublin Natural-Historical Park. The event is dedicated to oratory and the art of discussion.
At the festival, residents and guests of the capital will be able not only to spend a fun time in nature but also to acquire new skills in the art of debates and argumentation. They are waiting for various quests, contests, educational games, and musical performances.
Festival guests will be able to watch debates among the finalists and winners of the youth project for the development of debating skills "Debattl." The best speakers of the project will discuss current topics and demonstrate their public speaking skills.
Another significant event will be a large interactive quest. It will include nine stations at which participants will master the skills of oratory. For example, the "Big Jenga" station will teach players to quickly formulate their thoughts and concentrate their attention. Each block in the tower will represent a successful argument in dialogue. The "Places of Moscow" station will allow participants to test their knowledge of city attractions, and the "Monopoly Arguments" station will give participants the opportunity to take part in debates on various topics.
Quest participants who successfully complete all tasks will receive memorable prizes: blankets, notebooks, t-shirts, and other pleasant trinkets with the symbolism of the "Debattl" project.
In addition, festival guests will enjoy performances by dance collectives, as well as a musical concert.
