Visiting specially protected areas of Yamal has become free for individuals

Individuals have received the right to free visits to specially protected areas of Yamal.

The corresponding decree was signed by the Governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitry Artyukhov.

“Free visits by individuals to specially protected areas of regional significance in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug are secured by a regulatory legal act. There will be no changes for citizens,” the press service of the head of the region explained.

In 2024 4.900 tourists visited Yamal’s natural parks, which is twice as many as in the previous year.
