The press service of the Clean Arctic project reported that the event was announced during a thematic round table at the X Nevsky International Environmental Congress by First Deputy Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Gadzhimagomed Huseynov. The forum-festival will be held from June 22 to 25 in Murmansk.
During the event, the results of the "Clean Arctic" project and the opportunities of the Arctic regions for young people will be demonstrated. The participants of the discussions will continue to work on solving the main problems of the Arctic and will take part in the harsh Arctic activities.
The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East invites representatives of large businesses to participate in the forum. Huseynov stressed that only the joint efforts of the state, volunteers and businesses will make it possible to clean up the Arctic from waste. Last year, volunteers, representatives of environmental organizations and movements, social activists and students from all regions of the Russian Federation gathered at the first forum-festival in the Arctic city of Usinsk.
