The Research Center "Ecology of Health" of the Polar State University (ZSU) won a grant from the competition of social projects "World of New Opportunities" of Norilsk Nickel and will launch a project related to health care.
The project with the help of modern equipment will help to assess the health of schoolchildren and students of Norilsk, ttelegraf.ru writes.
Specialists of "Ecology of Health" will develop a municipal educational program on physical culture from 1st to 11th grade with the use of health-saving technologies.
As part of the project, the center will hold a master class on wellness techniques for schoolchildren in the Arctic, a sports challenge marathon, a training seminar on the use of health-saving technologies in the classroom, as well as a Health Day.
"Сancellation of classes due to weather conditions, polar night, getting out of the polar night, getting used to the school regime after a long vacation – all these factors need to be taken into account when drawing up the school schedule, combine classes with warm-ups. It is important to take into account the characteristics of each student's body: he is an owl or a lark.
