According to project manager Ruslan Gubaidullin, such a noticeable increase in personnel will allow more than three thousand tons of waste to be removed during the 2023 field season.
“This is an outstanding result. If the project continues to grow and develop at such a pace, very soon we will see a real breakthrough in the battle for the ecological well-being of the Arctic,” the press service of the Clean Arctic quoted Gubaidullin as saying.
In his opinion, the increase in the number of volunteers is clear evidence of the growing environmental awareness of Russians.
