NIA-Federation reports that more than 20 regions of the country were represented at the forum. In particular, representatives of the Norilsk Development Agency took part in it.

The central theme of the forum was the development of tourism in the regions of the Far East and the Arctic.

“Comprehensive and systematic development of tourism in the territory begins with the development of a master plan. This topic became the main one at one of the most important events of the forum - the plenary session," the NIA-Federation said.

Director of the Norilsk Development Agency Maxim Mironov said that two years ago, Norilsk during this forum presented the first stage of the developed master plan for the Arctic tourist cluster. This year, representatives of the Norilsk Development Agency shared their experience in its implementation. According to Mironov, about 30% of the tasks outlined in the document have already been completed in two years.

During the session dedicated to urban studies, Victoria Chulanova, Deputy Director of the ARN for the Development of the Urban Environment, spoke about the experience of creating a master plan for Norilsk and the projects being implemented in this territory. Among such projects are the social and cultural center "Tower", the Arctic Museum of Contemporary Art "AMMA", the shopping and pedestrian street Mira, the tourist staircase with an observation deck on Mount Schmidt.
Karina Andreeva, head of social, cultural and educational projects of the APH, spoke about the experience of organizing and holding events that attract tourists. As an example, she cited the Big Argish festival in Taimyr. The event was attended by over 10 thousand people.

Anastasia Korol, Deputy Director of the ARN for Tourism Development, took part in two sessions at once. One of them was devoted to industrial tourism.

The second session was devoted to the issue of professional training of instructors-guides and tour guides.
