The Russian government will allocate more than 30 billion rubles for the development of the Far Eastern and Arctic regions in 2023, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

"Today we will allocate an additional half a billion rubles for such purposes by the end of this year. Next year - more than 30 billion rubles. The funds will go to 16 Russian entities," he said at a cabinet meeting.

The need to stimulate the advanced development of the Far Eastern and Arctic regions, in which centers of economic growth are being created, was pointed out by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
