Murmansk region become a leader in tourism in the Russian Arctic

The tourist flow to the Murmansk Region in 2024 became a record not only for the entire history of the region, but also for the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation as a whole, said Andrey Chibis, Governor of the Murmansk Region. 

According to him, more than 700,000 people visited the region last year. 120,000 people visited the Kola Arctic during the New Year holidays, which is 30% higher than in 2023.
