According to Andrey Nagibin, head of the Clean Arctic Project office, Yakutia is one of the most active regions. Every year, the republic shows good results in terms of the number of volunteers and the volume of waste collected. "In Yakutia, thanks to the efforts of our volunteers, recycling will be completed in the near future petroleum products on the abandoned ship Dnepr," Nagibin said.
This year, the "Clean Arctic" will cover five settlements of Yakutia: Tiksi settlements, Deputatsky, Batagai and Esse-Khaya, as well as the village of Saskylakh of Anabar district.
