About 30.1 million rubles will be allocated for the development of tourism in Norilsk in 2025. This is slightly less than this year's budget.

The funds approved by the deputies of the Commission on urban economy of the Norilsk City Council will be used to promote the tourism potential and develop the subjects of the tourism industry.

The most popular places in Norilsk are the theater, where Innokenty Smoktunovsky and Georgy Zhzhenov served, monuments to victims of political repression, a mosque with a square minaret and the world's northernmost water park. Norilsk, with a population of 150,000 people, is the polar capital of non-ferrous metallurgy. The city–forming enterprise is located here - the Polar branch of the mining and metallurgical company Norilsk Nickel.
