About 700 tons of scrap metal collected in Yakutia as part of the Clean Arctic campaign

As a result of the implementation of the federal project “Clean Arctic” in Yakutia in 2024 about 700 tons of scrap metal and other waste were collected, and the territory of 9 hectares was cleared. More than 140 volunteers took part in the action, the press service of the head and government of the republic reported.

In total, during the implementation of the federal project “Clean Arctic” since 2021, about 1,600 tons of scrap metal have been collected by volunteers on the territory of Yakutia, and more than 35 hectares have been cleared.
