Yalta was declared the New Year’s capital of Crimea this year. It will welcome its guests with shining magical illumination, many entertainment programs, an 18-meter tall tree, which is included in the list of the highest New Year trees in the country.
According to the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, Vadim Volchenko, “a serious step has been taken forward in the New Year's design, taking into account the experience of European and large Russian cities”.
Along the famous promenade giant Christmas decorations generously “scattered” bright lights of illumination. Designers also constructed magnificent "light corridors", spectacular canopies from luminous garlands, figures of animals and fairy-tale characters.
Numerous entertainment programs will last from December 28 to January 12 - New Year and Christmas markets, theatrical performances and performances on the central streets of the city. And on December 28, to the sounds of a brass band, the tenth anniversary parade of Santa Clauses will cheerfully march along the Yalta embankment and the Children's New Year’s town is to be open.
On New Year's Eve, the “New Year's Star” DJ marathon will take place here, and the unforgettable pyrotechnic show “Lights of Her Grace of Yalta” will salute the Kremlin chimes.
Traditionally, the South Coast is considered the leader in popular destinations among Russians for New Year's celebrations. Already today, 90% of large hotels in Yalta are booked, which also prepare large holiday programs for their guests.
