As part of the all-Russian action "Water of Russia", corporate volunteers of the Bystrinsky GOK cleared the shore of Gazimur from debris. The partners in 2022 were Norilsk Nickel and Rosatom.

In May, a whole series of environmental events was held with the support of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and the Federal Agency for Water Resources.

Cleaning was carried out near the village of Gazimursky Zavod, where the shift workers went from the production site immediately after the work shift. They armed themselves with the necessary tools and packages and collected about five cubic meters of garbage in two hours.

“The main goal of corporate volunteers is to take care of the territory where we work. It's great that every year the piggy bank of good deeds is replenished. For example, we held two ecoshifts in the Daursky Reserve, where we installed wooden decks across the channels of the Torey lakes and built enclosures for argali, a species of mountain sheep in Transbaikalia. In the forest near the Siberian Military District, we equipped the “Beaver Path” for the people of Chita,” said Zhanna Medvedeva, head of corporate programs projects.

Volunteers of the "Combine for Good" movement of the Norilsk Nickel company often participate in environmental campaigns and come up with such projects themselves.
