Tourist facilities in Crimea are COVID-free

There were no outbreaks of COVID-19 at any object of the tourism industry in Crimea. This was stated by the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic Vadim Volchenko, who stressed that more than 80 accommodation facilities were reconstructed in 2021.

«We are on the path of a radical change in the industry. Thanks to the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry", the development of the tourism business in Crimea is becoming systemic and strategically adjusted. A variety of high-quality tourist services, and in the future will completely change the situation in the health resort sector of the republic,»  he added.

Since the beginning of this year, the flow of tourists has grown by 40% compared to the same period in 2019; more than 4 million people have visited the peninsula.
