The China Tourist Attractions Association has issued a convention to strengthen preventive measures against outbreaks to ensure a safe environment for visitors.
The Convention, based on the National Health Commission's Outbreak Prevention policy and guidelines for resuming tourist travel, offers a total of nine measures and standards such as equipment disinfection, staff health monitoring, distribution of visitors and updating information on the Internet.
At tourist attractions with high staff density, big data methods will be introduced to help distribute reservations for different periods. At the same time, ticket reservations will be transferred to online platforms to avoid personal contact and gathering people at the places to purchase tickets.
