The construction of a complex section of the popular tourist trail on the Holy Nose Peninsula of the Trans-Baikal National Park has been completed. Now the ascent and descent on the route will be more convenient.

The creation of the "Test Trail" began in 2015 and until August 2023, one and a half kilometers of the site along the observation deck remained unfinished due to the difficult terrain, the height of 900 meters above the level of Lake Baikal and unpredictable weather in the mountains.

"Thanks to the joint project of Lenta, the Dobry brand, the Lake Baikal Foundation and the Share with Us program as part of the initiative to promote ecotourism and separate waste collection, the work was completed at the end of August," the Lenta retail chain said in a press release.

As noted in the message, from July 21 to August 22, every ruble from the purchase of drinks of the Dobry brand was transferred to the Lake Baikal Foundation for the construction of the trail. The campaign was held in all Lenta stores, as well as in the Lenta Online service - a total of 2.2 million rubles were transferred.

"Now the ascent and descent along the trail have become much more convenient, easier and safer, and tourists can enjoy stunning views of Lake Baikal," the company said.

In addition, Lenta and Dobry supported the National Parks Without Garbage program and purchased equipment for separate waste collection on the territory of the Trans-Baikal National Park.
